 | By

Do you enjoy the fun of summertime festivals? Do you like to eat good food? What about supporting nonprofits for the kiddos? If you answered yes to any or all of the above questions, then the first-ever Food Truck Festival in the Shoals is a must!

Saturday, June 9, from 6-9 p.m., you can kick off summer and attend the Food Truck Festival in the Shoals, benefiting Children’s Museum of the Shoals in Florence. Tickets are $25 in advance, and include samples from all available food trucks. Exact food trucks are a surprise, but you can expect a sampling of a variety of favorites, from tacos to burgers. Day-of tickets cost $35 at the door.

All proceeds will go toward the Children’s Museum, which is fully funded by the community and is a vital learning source for children of the Shoals. In fact, the Children’s Museum has hosted over thirty local schools with field trips.

Additionally, you can sign up to be a VIP as a sponsor of the event. VIP includes extra incentives such as drinks and reserved tables. Be sure to contact Children’s Museum of the Shoals at (256) 284-7107 in order to sign-up to be a VIP member.

The festival will take place in the vacant streets by Singin’ River Brewery Company, located at 526 East College Street in downtown Florence. The event is nonrefundable and will occur rain or shine, so come prepared! Tickets can be purchased online or at the door of the event.
